Traffic infrastructure

The region Flensburg/Schleswig is limited in the north by the Danish border and the Flensburger Förde, in the east by the Baltic Sea, in the southeast by the Schlei and in the southwest by the Eider, and is connected via the motorway A7 / E45. The region is connected to the Federal Railroads or by air the region can be reached comfortably and fast via the airport Flensburg Schäferhaus. The cities Flensburg, Schleswig, Kappeln,  Harrislee and Sörup as well as 18 other cities and 134 communities are the region Flensburg/Schleswig.
