Technology Transfer – Spreading Knowledge

Innovation promotion is one of the most promising activities of economic development promotion that deals with endogenous factors. It not only improves the external image of the region, but also works to secure jobs for the future, to effect structural change and to bring important partners together. The Technology Centre Flensburg is specifically designed to meet this challenge. It advances the transfer of technology on the most diverse levels. We advise working groups and motivate them to take on themes relative to the future, sponsor informational events relating to new questions, promote contacts between science and business and between companies, organise specialist trade shows, and take care of the training of third parties. These activities are in part realised through cooperation with partners from science and business. The constantly high number of visitors shows the resonance of these activities. Every year, ca. 5,000 people attending ca. 300 events find their way to the TZ Flensburg.
