Projects of WiREG and its partner in the regional development

The regional development has a paramount meaning for the region Flensburg/Schleswig. Different programs of the European Union, federal and national programs are strenghtening the development, where the region has to eliminate disadvantages.

The WiREG accomplishes different projects for the stabilisation of the infrastructure in the region Flensburg/Schleswig. Examples of projects are:

Breitbandversorgung im ländlichen RaumBroadband supply in rural area /   
Co-ordination of broadband projects

Regional management conversion (RMK)
New uses for free military real estate

Tourismcoordination in the circle district Schleswig/Flensburg
The tourist clip for the destinations of the Schlei up to the Förde.

The WiREG is co-operating in the area regional development directly with the Regional Development Agency Nord GmbH. Here are the development funds for infrastructure development and transnational co-operation assigned.
